Relational and Sexual Trauma
Maybe it’s a single moment that changed everything. Or maybe it’s years of experiences that gradually shifted how you see yourself and the world around you.
You might be here because…
Something in your past is still affecting how you move through your life today.
Your reactions catch you off guard. You shut down, pull away, tense up, or numb out before you even realize what’s happening.
You crave connection, but find it hard to trust—even with people who are safe.
You carry a quiet, heavy shame about something that was never your fault.
What we’ll explore
Trauma can follow you into places you never expected it to: your relationships, your body, your sense of yourself, and the way you move through the world. You may have become an expert at moving forward while carrying a heavy weight behind the scenes.
We’ll give space to the memories you avoid, the thoughts you’ve never said out loud, the things your body seems to remember even when your mind doesn’t, and the cloud of emotions that can hit all at once before you feel nothing at all.
You don't have to relive everything that happened in order to heal from it. Together, we’ll take our time exploring what happened, what it changed, and what you want life to look like now. I integrate EMDR, attachment-focused therapy, and other evidence-based approaches based on what feels most helpful for you. Sometimes we’ll talk about the past. Other times, we’ll focus on what’s happening under the surface right now. From there, we’ll start making changes that actually feel possible. The goal isn't to forget what happened. It's to take back control of how it shows up now.
